From the Charlotte Area:

  • Take I-85 S towards Gastonia.

  • Take Exit 17.

  • Turn left onto US 321 N. Follow US 321 to Boone.

  • Turn left onto NC 105. Follow 105 for 15 miles.

  • Turn right onto NC 184. Follow NC 184 to Banner Elk

  • Turn left onto NC 194/184.

  • NC 184 will veer to the right and become South Beech Mountain Parkway

  • Follow NC 184/Beech Mountain Parkway into Town

  • Look for Land of Oz™ road-side signage to guide you to Beech Mountain Resort for parking.

From the Greensboro/Winston-Salem Area:

  • Take US 421 N to Boone.

  • Turn left onto NC 105. Follow 105 for 15 miles

  • Turn right onto NC 184. Follow NC 184 to Banner Elk

  • Turn left onto NC 194/184.

  • NC 184 will veer to the right and become South Beech Mountain Parkway

  • Follow NC 184/Beech Mountain Parkway into Town

  • Look for Land of Oz™ road-side signage to guide you to Beech Mountain Resort for parking.

From the Johnson City, TN Area:

  • Travel on I-26 toward Asheville

  • Take exit 31, merging onto US-321 N toward Elizabethtown/Milligan College

  • Stay on US-321 to Elizabethtown

  • Turn right at traffic light at US- 321 and G Street

  • Turn right at the next light onto TN-361/Gap Creek Rd

  • Stay on Gap Creek Rd until it intersects with US-19E S

  • Turn right onto US-19E S/TN-37 S/Veterans Memorial Pkwy. 

  • Continue on US-19E S for 17 miles

  • Turn left onto NC-194/Banner Elk Hwy. Continue on NC-194 for 6.5 miles

  • Turn left onto NC-184/Beech Mountain Parkway

  • Stay on this road to the Town of Beech Mountain

  • Look for Land of Oz™ road-side signage to guide you to Beech Mountain Resort for parking.

Shuttle Services

Shuttle services (included in the ticket price) will be provided round-trip from Beech Mountain Resort to Land of Oz™ .


Parking Restrictions

Notice: There is no parking at the Land of Oz™ Theme Park located on top of Beech Mountain. NC. Any vehicles parked on Land of Oz™ property without valid permit will be towed at the expense of the vehicles owner. 

 

Take note of where you park your car. Check signs for the lot number. Check landmarks, pin your location, take a photo. 


Parking lots open at 8:30AM each day. Once the event ends and traffic has cleared the lots, they will remain closed until 8:30AM the next event day. Vehicles must vacate the parking lot each day at the close of the festival. Any vehicles left in the lot after-hours could be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

The following activities are strictly prohibited in the parking lot and the areas surrounding:

  • Tailgating

  • Sleeping in your vehicle

  • Buying/selling tickets

  • Vandalism, loitering or other illegal behavior

  • Drinking alcohol

  • Illegal drug use


Land of Oz™, Beech Mountain Resort, and its affiliates, together with their respective employees, officers, owners, directors, representatives and agents are NOT RESPONSIBLE for and assume no liability arising from fire, theft, damage to or loss of any vehicle or any articles left therein. Parking at the event constitutes acknowledgement by the holder that he or she has read and agrees to the provisions of the foregoing contract. Vehicles (a) remaining in parking areas after close or (b) in parking areas other than as designated by Land of Oz™ are, at Land of Oz’s sole discretion, subject to tow-away at owner’s expense.

Parking for the Land of Oz™ Theme Park is located at Beech Mountain Resort

There you will find shuttle services are provided. 

 

There is no parking at the top of Beech Mountain; any vehicles parked on Land of Oz™ or other private property at the top of the mountain without valid permit will be towed at the expense of the vehicles owner. 

Land of Oz Theme Park is only open during our special events such as Journey with Dorothy & Autumn at Oz. Unfortunately Land of Oz does not accept walk-ins at anytime. Please visit the park only during the times of our magical events.
